Never before has there been a Pro Contest in the real streets, the true essence of skateboarding. With “True Street,” the course is the whole damn world and the skaters get three months instead of 60 seconds to do their stuff. With over $24,000 on the line and unlimited options, this will be the sickest and most anticipated contest ever.
HOW IT WORKS
April 1st skaters will be given a list of 20 tricks or criteria to film. With three months to shoot they will hit the streets with their favorite cinematographer. The raw footage will be judged with the best overall part winning.
THE VIDEO, PREMIER & AWARDS
The Contest will be edited together in the form of a video to be sold in skateboard and specialty shops worldwide. The video Premier and Awards Ceremony will take place in conjunction with the September 2000 A.S.R. show. A Television special will be filmed at the premier and aired at a later date.
