Cory Kennedy Nike SB Launch Photos

Check the video!
Big ups to 35th North, and the people at the Bellevue Plaza for making this happen. The day kicked off at Bellevue with an informal skate jam, Best Trick contests popped off on all parts of the park, and plenty of Cory’s shoes plus Nike SB shirts, hats, socks, and more were given away. Quick history lesson: In 2008, an unknown Cory won a Best Trick contest at this same plaza making his name known and basically becoming the hometown hero that day. On the small rail Best Trick contest, the idea was to see if anyone could do the tricks Cory did on the big rail seven years ago (kickflip backside tailslide bigspin out, switch heelflip backside five-0, and more) and no one could!
After the skate jam was over, we headed to a dock on Lake Washington where our yacht was waiting. Over the next three hours, a Hawaiian-themed, hula-heavy rager took to the water and a good time was had by all. Check the full coverage in the gallery. Congrats Cory! Thanks Nike SB! Get the shoes now.
