CPH Open 2016 Day 2

Second day of the Copenhagen Open was two different contests, Jarmers Plads ledges and an 80s style contest with just a launch ramp. The ledge contest was pretty tedious, seeing as you have to do two tricks in order to get points. But with people like Torey Pudwill, Corey Glick, Marek Zaprazny, and more it didn’t seem to be much of a problem. TJ Rogers came in first with his consistent tricks and Louie Lopez right behind him in second. The Launch ramp contest was a bit crazier, an entire street crammed with people shoulder to shoulder watching people launch fatty to flatties. Boards flying, bottles breaking; hitting cameras, shins, and anything else you couldn’t pull away in time! I don’t think anyone went as high as Curren Caples and Louie Lopez which is no wonder why Louie came in first and Curren came in second.—Mikey Gould
