If someone loves skating and is turning on TV and seeing skateboarding being portrayed as something along the lines of FOOTBALL they can say whatever they want. Skateboarding has nothing to do with how good you are. It's purely about the love of being on your board.

You're saying that because sheckler wins contests and has earned his place high up above all of us peasants through all his sell out deals he can do whatever he wants. The world of skateboarding is moving… it's going somewhere and the people steering are the people that are up there. If the skate industry turns into RedBull, and Mountain Dew and shit… the people controlling the skate industry will be people that don't skate. If you don't see anything wrong with that then you must be half retarded.

People like Andrew Reynolds, and Jamie Thomas; real pioneers of skateboarding… they took skateboarding in a direction. They had many options, as did sheckler. And sheckler fucked up.

     P.S. I refuse to capitalize sheckler. He is not a real person, he is merely an object. He is made of plastic. Under the right circumstances, you can mold him to your will. You can make him talk about his acne on a proactive commercial if you really want.
