Check out this full length film filmed and edited by Chris Thiessen out of Atlanta. It was all filmed with a Sony vx-1000 then filmed on TVs and computers. Skateboarding and art meshed into one.
FEATURING: Kris Markovich, Rhett Freeman, Dallas Rockvam, Ryan Fitch, Candler Woods, and many more.

it was really nice to see somethin different than the hd/dolly way skateboarding is goin. basic and a nice change of skating!!! that was raw and awesome chris!!! i have a fealing that most the comments are by kids between the ages 13-18. great venner slams, and fitch's last ollie was badass.

I'm not a kid between 13 and 18, I'm really old.. This means way over 30 years. Oh yeah this quality sucks! My eyes are already bad enough after three decades of bad film, tv, video and pc monitor quality! So shut the fuck up with this crap, bad film quality can't bring any spirit back! And art.. I hate art! If something is really good you don't have to label it art..

if you don't get it, you don't deserve to.

I was really appreciating the artistry behind the editing; The flashing lights and grainy filter really accentuated the motions of kickflips and switch ollies and backside 180s.
then I had a seizure.

this is really fucking dumb

This video reminded me alot of Mindfield.
In other words it remined me of a video containing great skateboarding fused with way too much over-artsy bullcrap.
Hence rendering new mainstream art-skate videos like this one a cancerous plaque to upcoming filmers and editors. The adverage viewer trying to get hyped on good footage and enjoy the show are getting tired of this amatuer crap. Filmers and editors need to get away from all these lame up close fisheye shots and panning away all quick on non fisheye shots no to mention random clips of clouds and birds and start showcasing the difficulty of the tricks being performed by the skaters.
Videos like Yeah Right, Ride The Sky, and Right Foot Forward are all good examples of new skateboard movies with not only great skating, but also a good blend of solid filming a little art.
