Street League Best Of 2014: Tom Asta and Davis Torgerson

SLS vet, Tom Asta, entered the League in 2012 and has been tearing it up ever since. No stranger to technical skating, Tom stepped in the 2014 arenas and hit each course with precision, throwing down flip in flip out, switch, nollie, fakie and manual variations on everything.

Tom finished the 2014 SLS Nike SB World Tour in 14th place overall after finishing 11th at both the Monster Energy Pro Open and Stop One: Chicago, and 14th in Los Angeles for Stop Two. Tom also took home a victory at the Stop Two: Los Angeles #DIAMONDLIFE Best Trick Afterparty after throwing down a huge Kickflip Backside Nosegrind down the long hubba. This was Tom's second time finishing 14th overall, the last time was his rookie year in 2012.

Davis entered the 2014 SLS Nike SB World Tour earlier this year by placing 3rd, out of the newcomer pros, in the first-ever Monster Energy Pro Open.

Gradually getting better throughout the year, Davis finished 13th overall at the Pro Open, 12th overall at Stop One: Chicago, and 9th overall at Stop Two: Los Angeles, wrapping up the 2014 Season in 13th place overall. Not bad for his first year.
