Verte x etnies Shoe Collabo Launch

Max Fish, the so called “Cheers” bar for skateboarders here in New York City held an event for the launch of the Verte x etnies shoe collaboration. Andre, Mark, and Tino Razo started the Verte clothing line a few years back to represent what they do and who they are in the New York City skateboarding community. On regular nights, mild mannered brothers Mark and Tino Razo usually hold down the bar tending status at the infamous Max Fish, but not on this night. This time around they were at the Fish celebrating–being supported by their friends and family for the success of the collaboration with etnies. The Shut and UXA heads were all in the mix supporting Verte in the evening’s event along with all of your favorite New York City skaters like Todd Jordan, Zered Basset, and Jeff Pang, just to name a few. The night kicked off with some open bar specials that consisted of Pabst Blue Ribbon beer and cranberry vodkas which went well with the ten plus pies of pizza from Two Boots that were delivered by none other then Sole Tech’s very own NYC connect, Alex Corporan. Yeah, this was definitely a night to remember.
Once the drinks started flowing and everyone got loose off of the juice, it was party time. Most of the night for me was a blur. What  I do remember is that the collaborative shoes were on display all around the bar and some shoes were even hanging from the ceiling. I thought that was pretty cool. And of course, the ladies were all out, looking good and everyone was getting their drink on. Giving props to Verte and thanks to the guys over at etnies for the drunken full night and morning’s hangover. Thanks again Guys!–Rodney Torres
