It is a great time of year to see the region begin to bloom. It is a ritual for us here at Alva to visit Borrego Springs this time of year to see the beginnings of the desert bloom, as well as skating, hiking, meditation and camping. This is the first year we have decided to invite the rest of SoCal to enjoy it with us.
If you love to skate then this is the park. The park is wide open with plenty of hits for any style of skater. The park is well kept and the concrete is perfect. The view is also a perfect rush to get you through your session with plenty of energy.
Food drinks are available with a function donation. Alcohol is not permitted in the Skate Park. This will be a child friendly event and the park does have restrooms, grass, and a play area for kids.
The region also has free campsites if you wish to spend the night on the mountain. Palm canyon is a beautiful oasis and the hiking is epic. Log onto borregosprings.org for region information.
