Andy Macdonald, Tina Basich, And Mike Vallely On Board For Board Aid 2000

Board AID, the largest charity event in the board-sports industry, has signed on three board sport athletes as spokespeople for Board AID 2000 including skateboarding World Record holder Andy Macdonald, world renowned prosnowboarder Tina Basich and proskateboarder recognized for his dedication and compassion for the sport Mike Vallely. Plus MxPx, a band that has ranked in the top 15 with Transworld SKATEboarding and Transworld SNOWboarding readers for the past two years, will perform at this festival. An expected 20,000 will attend Board AID 2000, held March 10-12 at Big Bear Mountain Resort in Bear Mountain, California.

“Board AID brings board-sports and the music industry together to reach teenagers in a meaningful way with an important message,” said Greg Ralph, Marketing Manager, Big Bear Mountain Resort, a sponser since 1994. “It’s an event we are always proud to sponsor.”
