It1s available at skate shops andbookstores now. The deluxe coffee-table book “represents the decade of hardwork we1ve put into this company,” said DC President Ken Block. “Fromathletes to owners, it puts the work and dedication of everyone involved inperspective.”
The book features an in-depth, behind-the-scenes story about how DC1s threeowners, Ken Block, Damon Way and Clay Blehm, met and created what has becomeone of today1s most influential action-sports shoe companies. In addition toauthoring the exhaustive history, editor Eric Blehm commissioned pieces onseveral longtime DC riders, including Danny Way, Colin McKay, Rob Dyrdek andTodd Richards. Blehm is a freelance writer and former editor ofTransWorld SNOWboarding, and followed the DC Shoes story for morethan a decade before completing Agents of Change.
Agents of Change is also a rich archive of over ten years of landmarkads, graphics, logos and photos. Throughout its existence, DC has produced afantastic amount of visual materials, from print ads to action photos of itsteam. This imagery accompanies the athlete profiles. The book1s spectacularimages and photos, a mix of the never-seen-before and the classic, isprovided by some of the best photographers in their respective industries,including DC photographer Mike Blabac and TransWorld SKATEboarding1sGrant Brittain and Dave Swift.
