AMATEUR SKATEBOARD CONTEST
Winner Gets Product Flow for a Year…
Irvine, CA — June 13, 2003 — Celebrate this Fourth of July in style and check out Element skateboard’s first annual “Elemental Awareness contest on Friday, July 4 at the Santa Ana Skateboard Park.
Amateur skaters will have the unique opportunity to compete for a chance to get product flow from Element skateboards for a year. Judges will include professional skaters from the Element team and the Element team manager.
Hundreds of hungry skaters from all over Southern California are expected to compete on this Independence Day in hopes to get recognized by Element and receive a year’s worth of product.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to Elemental Awareness, a non-profit foundation reaching out to underprivileged youth through the avenues of skateboarding.
The Elemental Awareness contest starts at 9 am at the Santa Ana Skateboard Park located on the corner of Edinger and Fairview in Santa Ana, CA. Practice starts at 8 am for those skaters who are interested in competing.
