The GROM Skateboard Championship features the best young skaters ages 6 — 13years from throughout the Northeastern United States. Skaters participating in the GROM Championship have all qualified from various GROM contest series events that took place from April — October 2003.

“This years GROM Series saw even more talented younger skaters than ever before. Last years GROM championship was amazing, some of the participants went on to get sponsored by various U.S.A sponsors. says USA’s founder T. Eric Monroe.

“A lot of the kids participating in the GROM series began skateboarding idolizing guys like Tony Hawk and aspire to be great like him. These kids have skills that can match some of the top amateur skaters. The emphasis of the GROM Series is to give these kids a platform to showcase their skills amongst their peers, while providing a family friendly atmosphere for kids and parents.

The championship will be highlighted by professional skateboard demonstrations from GROM series presenter, Zoo York skateboards.
