The Levi’s Skateboarding design team didn’t have to look much further than its San Francisco headquarters to find inspiration for their Spring 2017 collection. They rewound the clock by just under a hundred years when the Port of San Francisco was the main harbor for Western United States trade and military deployment during WWII. The Spring / Summer 2017 Collection introduces new outerwear pieces inspired by the shipyard workers at Hunters Point in San Francisco. Specifically, the riveters who worked on the ships during World War II. Taking inspiration from these riveters, the Spring / Summer collection blends superior construction with timeless and distinctively Levi’s design elements.
