After the beginner and intermediate contests were finished, the contestants moved onto the advanced round. Beginning with 40 competitors, the round was narrowed down to 10 finalists. The final wildcard jam produced these three winners that will be making their way to the finals in Torrance, CA on November 21, 2004:

1 st Place: Marques Devaughn

2 nd Place: Jason Barr

3 rd Place: John Bunch

Thanks go out to Neil and his crew at the park, and the guys at Stuck Magazine!

Bright and early Sunday, November 7, the Globe Wildcard Series crew rolled in to Guelph, Ontario to The Ward Skatepark for the 11 th stop of the series. Guest judges, Paul Machnau and Gailea Momolu, arrived first to an already packed park. The contest got started right away, and the 65 registered skaters gave the crowd a lot to cheer for. With all the skaters on top of their game, the jam session was what really let the winners stand out. Matt Ross, representing Globe, was pulling out all the stops and clearly ran away with the final taking first. Dustin Blauvelt also riding for Globe, who drove all the way from the Milwaukee contest the day before, took second. Joe Legate came in third to round out the skaters going to California for the finals. Thanks to everyone who helped out in Toronto: The Ward Skatepark, Paul Machnau & Gailea Momolu, Brian White, Margaret, Taylor and all of the skaters and crowd who came out to welcome us back to Canada.
