Podium Skate, the Only Way to Qualify For the 2017 X Games Am Contests in Minneapolis Minnesota.

X Games is giving skateboarders everywhere the opportunity to compete in Minneapolis by using the Podium Skate App. Podium Skate is a new app created by CA Productions that allows users to upload their footage and be ranked by our pro judges for a chance to be invited to the live event on July 13-16. This will be the ONLY way to participate in this year's X Games Am contest without an invite

Here's how it works, users upload one clip that includes their best 30 seconds of footage. All submissions will be scored and ranked by Podium app users. From there, the top submissions will then be judged by our panel of pro judges and the top three entries will be officially qualified and will go directly to the finals in Minneapolis. This will be the only way to compete in this year's X Games Am contest without an invite.

After the public scoring round, the Podium/X Games Pro Judging panel will score the top submissions and determine the final rankings.

X Games Am Street & Park:

This is the first time X Games has opened qualifying to the public and allows everyone around the world a chance to compete. Only the top three submissions for both Am Street & Park will be selected to compete in this year's X Games Contest.

If you are selected as one of the top three submissions, you are not only qualified, but make it straight to the finals to compete against X Games top three invited Ams! The 6-man final will be held during X Games in Minneapolis Minnesota July 13th – 16th.

The X Games Qualifier is now open for submission! For your chance to enter DOWNLOAD Podium Skate on the App Store or Google Play

A Look Back on Dew Tour Long Beach 2017

Looking back on Dew Tour a total of 6 qualifiers from the app made it into the Am Street finals in Long Beach. Our number one qualifier on the Podium App Tyson Bowerbank also took home 1st place in finals on Sunday! Maurio McCoy a new comer from the Philly area qualified on the Podium App leaderboard in 11th place but ended up blowing the crowd away with his performance during each course section in Long Beach. Maurio’s first Dew Tour appearance lead him to a 2nd place finish! In the Dew Tour Am Bowl Contest the in-app qualifiers shined all throughout the leaderboard having 5 qualifiers who made it to the finals. Both young rippers Tate Carew & Gavin Bottger earned the 2nd and 3rd place on the final leaderboard. Both Tate & Gavin don’t usually make an invite for major events like this and were given the chance through our qualifiers and proved them self-worthy for future events.

Thanks to everyone who submitted their clip and congrats to our finalists!
