Venice Beach, CA: May 19, 2007
New York, NY: August

Get ready for Red Bull Manny Mania. This super tech manual contest will be hitting select cities all over the US this summer. Heated jam sessions, a top pro invite list, and the craziest manny pads ever built are just some features of this two-wheel battle. Led by manual tech wizard Joey Brezinski, the contest series kicks off Saturday, May 19th in Venice Beach, Calif., for a pro showdown at the birthplace of modern skating.
Practice starts – 11am
1st Jam session starts – High noon
Final starts – 2:30pm
From there, Manny Mania will tour the country with six amateur stops where locals will get a chance to throw down their best trick combos and take away prizes. Red Bull pros Joey Brezinski, Zered Bassett, Danny Supa, and Benny Fairfax will be at various stops to judge, hang out, and crown the best local. The series will wrap up in NYC where the pros will take a final crack at walking away with the Manny title and a good chunk of prize money. “This is such a huge part of skateboarding right now,” said Brezinski. “We spend so much of our time just searching for great manny spots to skate, the timing just felt right to build a dream manny pad and session it with the best guys, so we ended up with Manny Mania.”

Manny pad design and Pro skater invite list to be released soon…
