RVCA is cementing a longstanding relationship with NYC skate shop, KCDC with an expanded partnership that begins in February where they’ll be involved in a full remodel of KCDC that will update both the iconic store and create a RVCA-branded presence in the space.
To kick off the collaboration on February 14th, KCDC will host Skate Night at Rough Trade at 64 N. 9th Street in Brooklyn, NY. This event will feature a mini ramp jam, giveaways, ping pong, and a special appearance by RVCA team riders Andrew Reynolds, Curren Caples, Kevin "Spanky" Long, and Mark Suciu.
KCDC will celebrate its re-opening on Thursday, February 15th with a series of collaborative graphics, an art install and a neon sign in the store created by Brooklyn ANP artist, Stephen "ESPO" Powers. ESPO's artwork will kick off the first RVCA X KCDC collaboration and will be available in store and online at RVCA.COM and at KCDCSKATESHOP.COM.
"I'm super excited to join forces with RVCA, who I've always admired as a brand that supports skateboarding and art similarly to how we do! In times like these, we need to continue to create and offer an experience to the public that represents the solidarity and magic that skateboarding has brought to us." – Amy, Owner KCDC
