Sessions News, Jason Jessee back on SC

Don “The Nuge Nguyen and Dyson Ramones on Sessions

After spending a weekend with Corey Duffel and visiting the warehouse Don “The Nuge Nguyen decided he needed some new threads.  He got his hands on the Chet Childress’ designed shirts and knew right away that Sessions was right up his alley. Don also rides for: Pig Wood, Pig Wheels, Duffs Shoes, and Ruckus Trucks.

Am up and comer Dyson Ramones also believes in Sessions, and with the Duffman on his side along with all of Hawaii, Dyson jumped at the chance to join the team. Dyson says he can’t wait to go on his first trip with the rest of the Sessions crew, that coincidently is happening right now as Corey, Don, and Dyson are currently uncovering the secrete skate spots of China… Dyson is also riding for: Stereo Skateboards, Spitfire Wheels, Thunder Trucks, Duffs Shoes, and Blue Hawaii Boardshop out of Oahu.

Welcome to the team guys! We’re excited to have them on board and feel they’re a great fit along side of Corey Duffel, Chet Childress, Steve Caballero, and ams Adam Dyet, Josh Perkins, John Ponts, and Steve Fauser.

Santa Cruz Skateboards is pleased to officially welcome Jason Jessee back to the family and the team!

Vet’s Division Commanders, Tom Knox & Eric Dressen, made the suggestion to get Jason on. Dave Freil talked to him and said he sounded into it, so Knox and I drove out to meet Jason at his Watsonville warehouse to pitch the idea of him joining the Vets Division. Jason showed us what he’d been up to – building one of a kind choppers & crazy metal sculptures and battling over the rights to his life story documentary titled, Pray For Me (

After a little friendly persuasion, he agreed – as long as we understood that “it’s not going to be easy to work with me – that was back in September 2005. Eight months later, Jason’s debut model on the Veteran’s Division titled “Rape of Liberty is due to release this month.

Jason’s re-issue boards continue to be some of the most sought after boards ever released by Santa Cruz Skateboards.  His Veteran’s Division model is sure to carry on the tradition.

If we can get a hold of Jason, we hope to have a web bio up on sometime soon — stay tuned.
