Zoo York turned this year’s AM Getting Paid contest up another notch by switching up the venue to Le Taz skatepark in Montreal, which has a killer set up, and changed the format to a one-minute run for each skater and then three jam sessions on three different sections of the park. By the looks of the skating that went down on Friday, the skaters seem to be liking it as well. Magnus Hanson was ripping all day, and took the gnarliest slam of the day at the end of his heat. Manny Santiago has been on point, like always. Montreal’s JS Lapierre was absolutely on fire coming through with big spin front boards and nosegrind pop outs up hubbas. Look out for him in the finals.
