This year park event went off with a bang thanks to a good cross section of skaters both young and old, and another amazing course built by California Skateparks. Gold went to 17-year old Brazilian phenomenon Pedro Barros, fresh of his Pro-tec Pool Party win, he was simply unstoppable, using every corner of the park at break neck speed. Ben Hatchell pushed Barros right to the wire with some impressive smooth technical skating, but bailed on his final run. If this weekend was all about the new breed of transition skaters, the old guard is not giving up a without a fight. Rune Glifberg placed third proving that age means nothing when you have style.
