Carlo Carezzano returned to the D.R. to host 3 Kings Skateboarding Day with close friend and local ripper Waldo Lara. The idea was to hit up 3 skate parks in Santo Domingo in one day.

All of the skaters attending would have fun and likely walk away with some sort of prize – grip tape, hat, sunglasses, bandana, bum bag or even a bunch of stickers however the "King" of each location got laced with a skateboard, wheels & more!

The day started at La Barquita Skatepark at 8am. The groms were skating super tough with Carlo and Waldo the new park featuring a big bowl with perfect transitions and several other nice ledges and pyramid hips. It was the ideal warm up spot and the kids were having tons of fun and ripping hard. Everyone stayed hydrated wth AriZona Iced Tea and had fun.

Next the skaters met up around 12pm at San Luis (Sans Skate). There was a perfect beginner level cement 3-foot half pipe that leads into a cool snake run. The young groms were having a blast! Walso amped the kids up with bullhorn. The session on the mini ramp was lit! Boneless varials, stylish full cab rocks by a 8 year old girl & a lengthy 5-0 grind finished with a rainbow 5050 were some of the epic tricks to go down.

The word was spreading fast as lots of people from the neighborhood showed up to scope the action. In true DR style kids were kickin' the ball around as well as hittin' home runs with a wiffle ball bat!

The final stop was around 4pm at the famed Montesino plaza which is the OG stomping grounds for Santo Domingo skateboarding. Franklin Aquino even made a cameo as the locals battled for the title.

The session was lit! Hard ass tricks were getting landed left and right. The vibes were high and the crowd was stoked. Waldo & Carlo awarded Rafael Zolano with the 3 Kings best trick award.

Everyone kept the skating til dark and the party continued late into the night.

It's looking like 3 Kings Skateboarding Day will become an annual event!

Thanks to AriZona & Natural Koncept for all of their support.
