The adidas Showcase has been making stops in cities across the globe since 2016. On Saturday, August 25, ATL's core skate scene arrived at Facet Gallery in The Old 4th Ward to enjoy photography, illustrations, paintings and more from featured artists Rich Arbitelle, Sarah Keys, David Morico, Kamal Stoddard, Graham Bickerstaff, Charles Chatov, LITTLE GESUS and WON2. Stratosphere's Thomas Taylor handled the MC duties, DJ Peyton Bartlett rocked the tunes and Pacifico hooked up all the beers. The event closed with the premiere of Jeremiah Babb and Scott Wagoner's Bender Hardware Video Zine showcasing amazing talent from the ATL and beyond.
The next stop was Elmyr for quesadillas, more drinks and games of Cee-lo. Semmes Weston brought the dice, but Peyton took all the cash.
Thanks again to Thomas and Grant Taylor for the ultra rad BBQ / skate jam birthday party mayhem on Friday night! Epic times in the ATL!
