Sacramento was off the hook this past weekend. TWS and PLA hosted the Come Up Tour at Mather Skatepark and later that evening in the Alkali Flats District, adidas Skateboarding held its Showcase event. Fifteen artists were chosen for this elite group show at 1810 Gallery, by far the raddest gallery in Sacramento. The space was filled with amazing sculptures, illustrations, paintings, and photographs.
OG local Ernie Fresh hosted the event and Bru Lei lit up the crowd with a live performance. It was one of the biggest Showcase events to take place in the States for sure. Miles Silvas, Matt Rodriguez, Matt Pailes, Mike Rafter and all the PLA folks were in the mix. DJ Ferngully crushed it on the tables, and B-Sides Kyle kept the beer flowing. A big shout out to everyone at 1810 Gallery and adidas Skateboarding for hosting such an awesome event.
